Nature Notes
The copperleaf hedge is in bloom. Can you see the flowers? I shot this in the morning, as I was leaving for work, and so the color is true morning light, and the drops of water are, I think, condensing dew, and not late night rain. Click on the image to open a pop-up window at full (huge) size.
As ever, this is part of the Nature Notes meme.

Just beautiful! I have 2 of these shrubs in front of my house, too. Never knew what they were called! I thought they were goners, with the drought & all, but the rains really revived them . Killing my peppers, but perked up the Copperleafs. Oh well…
Hello…I fixed the link for you as it was off a bit and I don’t want anyone to miss your post. This is really beautiful and the morning light makes it even more so. I can’t wait till we get some sun here as I am sick of the rain…Thank you for participating in Nature Notes…Michelle
Wow, what an amazing color! It’s like a touch of fall in the middle of summer. Pretty.
