Oh, you all know that sometimes, just sometimes, I'm a sucker for a meme. When it has to do with art or books or music, I'm only too happy to play along. So. From Miss Bliss to me and then to five of you:1. One book that changed your life: Walter Pater's Conclusion to the Renaissance
2. One book that you’ve read more than once: The Bushwhacked Piano
3.One book you’d want on a desert island: The Baroque Cycle
4. One book that made you laugh: The Joyous Season
5. One book that made you cry: The Once & Future King
6. One book that you wish had been written: Oh No, Ho; You Are NOT Doing That In Public
7. One book that you wish had never been written: The Celestine Prophecy (Truly, Deeply, Awful)
8. One book you’re currently reading: Hacking Moveable Type (pathetic, isn't it?)

ooooooooooh I forgot about the Celestine Prophesy, totally annoying book. I almost listed The Bridges of Madison County because THAT book also annoyed the shit out of me.
Well aren’t you all just so damn cynical. I agree with your critique of CP, However, (yes, I capitalized on purpose) I was delighted that soooo many people who don’t think about things outside the mass cultural biblical version of reality liked it. I do believe that the more people seeing multiple reallities the better the chance we have of constructing a more peaceful world…you just have to first realize that it is we who are constructing reality…and the one they are intent on creating at the moment really sucks. I keep constructing a different one, just not as loud as those we shall not name (but you know who)! Did you see the bit on Jesus Camps!? Yikes! Soldiers for God hurumph…
Thanks, loads, sweetie. I’ll get back to you on that.
